A 2-hour course for consultants and managers: trace each claim to a source, label your judgment, list open approvals, and check the draft with AI before a sharp reviewer reads it.
What you will be able to do
- Sort what you've written: Take a recommendation you already have and mark each statement as evidence, judgment, assumption or pending approval, including sentences that mix two of them.
- Trace every evidence claim: Attach a specific, checkable source to each factual claim. Flag claims that rest on memory or hearsay, then decide whether to source them, relabel them or cut them.
- Label your judgment openly: State your professional judgment as judgment, give the reasoning, and say what would change your view, so a reviewer can test it instead of attacking it.
- Make open approvals explicit: List who must approve, what exactly they are approving and what depends on it. Separate agreed owners, deadlines and requirements from ones you inferred.
- Check the draft with AI, and stay the reviewer: Brief an AI assistant to find blurred categories, unsupported claims and hidden approvals. Then decide which findings to accept, reject or investigate.
- Hold up line by line: Revise the recommendation so every claim shows its category and its source, reasoning or approval status, then review it the way a sharp reviewer would.
