Set up Grok Bot with the least access that works. Then build four bots on tested routines for intake, revisions, delivery specs and licences. Every send waits for your approval, and every image decision is yours.

What you will be able to do

  • Decide whether Grok Bot fits your work: Compare Grok Bot with Custom Agents in the Grok chat app and with bots built on the Grok API. Then check the official pricing page to see which plans include it. As of 28 October 2026 that's Premium, Super, Ultra and Teams seats, but not Plus or Free.
  • Set it up with the least access that works: Use a separate work account and connect only the app tools you need. Turn Auto-review on, with Ask-first rules for sending, uploading, overwriting and deleting. Set local execution to Never allow and don't save a payment card.
  • Write instructions a bot can follow: Write a setup message that gives the bot one job, its sources, its approval limits and its stop rules. It includes the line that matters most in production: when a source, reference or permission is unknown, say what's missing and stop.
  • Run four production bots on routines: Build four bots and save each one as a skill: an asset-request intake log, a revision log built from client feedback, a delivery-spec check of your exports, and a licence and release tracker. Then put each skill on a routine you've tested.
  • Share bots only after checking what they carry: Before you share a bot with your team or bring it into Slack, check which apps, files and secrets go with it.
  • Review what your bots did and tighten them: After each run, read the run history, the evidence the bot returned and its list of unverified items. Then revise its instructions.
