What you will be able to do
- Frame the decision only you can make: Turn a broad ambition, such as opening a new service line, into a specific question with a deadline, at least three real alternatives (including deferring or doing nothing), stated constraints and a named decision owner.
- Get a useful first draft from AI: Prompt an AI tool to draft a decision brief, then edit it into your own version instead of accepting it as written.
- Separate facts from assumptions: Check each claim in an AI draft against a source you actually hold, mark it as verified fact, assumption or unknown, and catch conflicting metrics, mismatched period labels and competing definitions.
- Compare resource options side by side: Build a what-if estimate for two or three options, note the assumption and source behind each figure, and see how a lower budget or shorter deadline changes the picture.
- Write a recommendation that shows its costs: Draft a recommendation that states benefits, costs, conditions and risks together, and notice when a persuasive narrative is hiding what the plan really requires.
- Ask for output you can check: Rewrite your prompts so the AI shows its sources, its uncertainty and the tradeoffs, and leave with a reusable prompt set for briefs, evidence checks, estimates and recommendations.
